Getting a beginner guitar and have a few questions?

So starting out welcome to the club. Don't think that you can not get heavy sound out of single coils! (it is all about technique). the best advice i can give you is get the best gear you can afford. and try as many different amps as you can with your own guitar so you always have one constant, and make your choices from there.
