Strange period and cycle?

My period was on the 8th. I didn't have any real changes in cm until the 17th, it was EWCM. my husband and I bd that night, then on the 18th I started to have spotting. It lasted for about 3 days. On the 28th, I had some strange mild cramps with a heavy feeling. On the 29th and 30th I had some brown/pink spotting, none today. But I have felt a few twinges. When could I test? Does it sound promising? My husband and I really want a baby. Thanks for helping
