Who liked the new Star Trek movie - your views?

I only just saw it last night for the first time with my husband and our eldest daughter, who loves Star Trek - she's a total trekkie and only 12!!! - and we all thought it was an excellent movie! I have a crush on the new Captain Kirk now, Chris Pine was just really good at portraying him. And i loved Zachary Quinto from Heroes as Spock, he really did him justice! And didn't you jusy love Simon Pegg as Scotty? He was so funny and had me in hysterics throughout! You gotta love Simon Pegg! Spock and Uhura being together instead of Uhura & Kirk was a tad strange as i'm used to Uhura being with Kirk but she had a really sweet relationship with Spock so it really seemed to work well. Everyone else's views? Cheers, x
