Is it "safe" to mix acrylic paint and ELMERS glue in a painting?

I like to experiment and try to mix all kinds of acrylic like paints and even non-paint things like personal lubricant which contains Glycerin, Hydroxythylcelluous, Chiorhexiden Gluconate, Glucono Delta Lactone Methylparaben and Sodium Hydroxide. It seems to work well and gives a unique appearance-much like translucent oil colors and makes nice blends. However I don't know about it's safeness. Please help.
