My 1994 buick regal makes a knocking sound when i'm idle but when i drive it stops?

I've changed the water pump and did a troubleshooting by removing the serpentine belt. I'm double checking that it's the harmonic balancer before I start tearing stuff up. Is there a manual online anywhere? help please!!!
