Snyder v. phelps supreme court case - When does it start in Supreme Court?

In the Snyder v. Phelps Supreme Court case, when does the trial begin? Will it be an open trial where we (unrelated civilians) can sit in the stands and listen? Is what happened really considered "Freedom of Speech" and is the church group protected? (I hope not...)
