Birth control help!!!?

i was going to take my first birth control pill ever and when i was opening it, it fell, i looked for it everywhere but i didnt find it, it is yasmin so they come with days, i was going to take my on the first friday which was the day i got my period, since i lost it i went to the second friday and i started my pack instead of in the first friday on the second, was this bad, are all pills the same?
