United States Air Force CRO (Combat Rescue Officer) Question?

So im seriously thinking about getting my bachelors degree and then going into the USAF. I am particuarly looking at officer positions in Pararescue. My question is if pararescue and positions osiated with it is becoming obsolete in the air force, or are PJs still very active?
