What is her life expectancy(stage 3 melanoma?

my sister just had her second surgery to remove cancerous lymph nodes. It is Melanoma. her first surgery a number of lymph nodes were removed, one came back cancerous. it was in her groin area. they thought they got it all. 10 months later its back again. This time in her pelvic/abdomial area, 27 nodes were removed 3 came back cancerous. Again they think they got them all. What should we expect, how long does she have, we are at Sloan in NYC, what is the best place to beat this disgusting disease?
